The 2020 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List #6

Alright, now things are going to start getting interesting. We’re out of the top 4 that are mostly agreed upon, and now...our first pitcher is off the board.

Logan Webb had a season of highs and lows, with the highs being his major league debut, and the low being his suspension for PEDs (which, the last I heard, he still disputes). He came away with just 30% of the vote (85 total), which is our lowest winning percentage yet. And the next three all were close to each other, with Alexander Canario (66), Seth Corry (50), and Mauricio Dubon (49).

So, the list so far.....

  1. Joey Bart
  2. Marco Luciano
  3. Heliot Ramos
  4. Hunter Bishop
  5. Logan Webb

Who’s next? Do we add another pitcher in Seth Corry after his breakout year? Will it be the talented Alexander Canario? Or will the votes go to Dubon, who is all but ready to play his first full season in the Majors? Or...will Luis Matos surprise everyone?

Also, Will Wilson is in the poll.

Here’s your candidates for sixth:

Alexander Canario

Luis Matos

Mauricio Dubon

Seth Corry

Will Wilson

Make your case in the comments! I know there’s a few Will Wilson stans out there!

Oh, we’re getting close to our next set of nominations, so start thinking about who should be next in the poll!
