So just a quick note on the future. Kevin and I both agreed that we want to keep the Community Prospect List running through to its natural conclusion, which we should be able to do even with yesterday’s news. So our plan is to continue as we laid out at the beginning, taking the CPL on through its traditional #44 spot sometime in early spring training and then signing off.
With that said: we now have had three straight one-sided polls. Which isn’t terribly surprising and is more or less why we started out with the group we did.
That makes the list thus far:

Now things get a little bit tougher and possibly wilder (though maybe true wildness has to wait for tomorrow. Here are the nominees for the fourth position:
