Good morning, McCoven! And Happy Friday!
Alex Pavlovic posted a picture on Twitter last night that I thought might interest you:
It appears the Giants are taking bleacher seats out in right-center to make room for new bullpens (also Topgolf at Oracle Park is cool) pic.twitter.com/zgVtzyuGUD

That’s right, it looks like the Giants are finally moving the on-field bullpen mounds to some place a bit safer for their fielders. After Mac Williamson’s dangerous concussion last season and his heartfelt pleas during his brief stint with the team this year, it seems as though the bullpen mounds will no longer be on the field.
This is a good thing, even if you will miss being able to watch pitchers warm up right in front of you. I have sat there several times just for that reason. But I’m okay with it. And yes, relief pitchers liked being able to hang out with the team, but I think even they would agree that it shouldn’t come at the expense of the long-term health of their fellow players.
