MLB: San Diego Padres at San Francisco Giants Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

We did it. We made it through the entire season. Today is the last game of an unmemorable season. When we look back on 2018, I’m not sure what, if anything, will stand out. Maybe Dereck Rodríguez, aside from yesterday’s performance.

Meanwhile, we have official MLB chaos today, with both the Brewers and Cubs and the Dodgers and Rockies tied for both first place in their respective divisions and the consolation Wild Card slots. So today’s games will be important and the Giants once again have the opportunity to play spoilers.

Sure, they can’t knock the Dodgers out of the playoffs, and yeah, they’re unlikely to actually win the game. But it would be sweet, sweet relief if they did. Because the absolute worst way this season could end is with the Dodgers clinching the division in our park on the final game of the year.

Do you think the Giants have it in them to win ONE game to keep this from happening?
