MLB: New York Mets at San Francisco Giants Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

Tomorrow is the final Minor Lines of 2018 and I just wanted to take a moment to thank Roger and Kevin for their hard work all season long. They really went above and beyond the call of duty and I really appreciated it because they maintained a consistent, high quality feature for 5+ months and during my first term as the managing editor.

If you check out today’s edition, you’ll discover video of the mythical Joey Bart. So, go check that out, and thank you Roger and Kevin for making the Giants’ minor league system seem interesting every single day.

Today will debut the updated version of the series preview, so, just a heads up on that... in case you are one of the few people who look forward to them...

Melissa Lockard of The Athletic posted her projection for the Giants’ lineup in 2022, which has Posey at first and Longoria at third and current farm hands everywhere in between. These roster projections have always felt silly to me because there are trades, free agent signings, and usually, most of these players don’t pan out (instead, it’s different players and at different times from what you’d expect). Last night, I did the same thing, however, trying to figure out what the Giants would look like in 2021 if they were scheduled to play a couple of games in London as part of the league’s new international initiative.

But what do you think? Will Posey and Longoria still be around next decade?
