Looks like it’s going great, actually. We know he loves horses and just think of all the reps he’s going to get in over the next 15 months. He’s going to be a championship horseman before it’s all said and done — a second career lined right up.
But he’s not just committed to his horses. Nossir. The game of baseball remains ever-present in his life:

I bet... I bet he’s just enjoying seeing his kid hustle and trying hard to earn his dad’s ::sniffle:: respect. It’s probably inspiring him in his own journey back. Just look at how hard he’s rehabbing...
He’ll be back before we know it. In the meantime, though, I’m glad to see him living life, relaxing, and enjoying quality time with his son...
