The Giants wore meme shirts for their final road trip of the season

You’ll need an Instagram account to follow the story properly, but in the  ̶m̶e̶m̶e̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ meantime, we’ve got you covered.

Every season, teams like to do something wacky for their final road trip of the year. This is usually when we see videos and pictures of rookie hazing, a practice that was banned after 2016. I honestly cannot remember what the Giants did last year, so it was not more creative than losing 98 games.

THIS year, however, they’ve really found a fun angle for the team-wide ritual: meme shirts!

You’ll need to click on this and all the other tweets to be able to see the full size of these pictures (most of these quad looks are mosaics that are expandable).

Folks, I’m incredibly old, so I don’t have an Instagram account. If I did, I’d be able to view these Instagram stories of the moment. This means that if you want the pure, uncut stuff, log on to Instagram and follow along. Thank you very much to all the kindly Tweeters who posted these and made an old fart like me aware of what was going on over there on the ‘Gram.

UPDATE @ 8:05pm: Brandon Crawford has graciously posted a photo of the entire team dressed to the memes.

If the Giants are smart, they will make all of these available together as a bundle at the Dugout Store.
