18 games remain on the 2018 schedule and the StubHub pricing doesn’t stop just because the Giants are out of it. Every game of this series against the Braves has tickets starting at just $6 on the ol’ StubHub there so if you haven’t yet gotten to a game this season, there will never be a better time. You know seats will be plentiful and congestion around the ballpark will be exceedingly low, so what are you waiting for?
Meanwhile, I’m going to go back to the previous format for the Series Preview. You know, I just thought if I tried to be more straightforward in terms of numbers and matchups that I could 1) get it done more quickly and 2) make it more useful to you, the reader. Turns out, the new format took nearly as long if not longer to write and weren’t nearly as fun. That has practically nothing to do with the state of the Giants, it just wasn’t a good fit.
We will still continue to do the expanded GameThreads with matchup info and game preview stuff — that seems to be working okay and I can usually find something interesting to put in there for first pitch.
