Some quick news, Buster Posey cleared concussion tests last night so he is likely going to start today at first base. I would say that is good news, but they don’t always catch these things when they should, and players ultimately end up on the concussion DL anyway, even after clearing initial tests. So all we can really do is hope for the best.
Also, Andrew Baggarly posted this last night:
That's five hits tonight for Andrew McCutchen. It should be pointed out that when the Giants put him on waivers, the PITTSBURGH PIRATES would be one of the first contending teams, if not the first, to have a shot at claiming him.

It was noted during the uneventful trade deadline that August would be the time the Giants look to make deals. Baggarly points out in one of the replies that they will likely put everyone on waivers, including Madison Bumgarner, since they are revocable. That said, what do you think the Giants should look to get back on a deal with Pittsburgh on Andrew McCutchen? What about other players?
