Although some may be hesitant to stop believing in this year’s team, due to the current (and brief) winning streak, it’s quite likely that the Giants are all but done for the year.
What with the loss of Buster Posey for the year, a continuously .500 record, being six games back in the division and in fourth place, and being six and a half games out of the second Wild Card spot, it’s not looking great.
So no one would blame you if you wanted to start looking ahead to 2019. Of course, there are many things we can’t possibly know yet about the 2019 season, but now there is one thing we can.
The Giants released their 2019 spring training schedule today, which includes 30 games over the span of a month, starting on February 23rd against the Angels and concluding on March 23rd against the Diamondbacks. There will be three split squad games.
Tickets for these games will go on sale November 19th, 2018 at 10:00am.
