Saturday BP, 8/18/18

I remember auditioning for American Idol on the field of AT&T Park. I remember getting through to the executive producers, only to have a PA tell me not to worry about being rejected because they were only looking for guys in San Francisco, since it was the last stop on the audition tour.

That warped my view of reality competitions and having any interest in auditioning for them or watching them. But it doesn’t stop me from singing. Often badly, after so many years out of practice. But I started a tradition of posting drunken karaoke songs on the weekends when I partake in the devil’s nectar.
