Voting for the All Star Game closes tonight at 8:59 pm P.T. and for the first time, Buster Posey has lost his hold on the lead to be the National League’s starting catcher. The Chicago Cubs’ Wilson Contreras has been creeping up in the votes and has overtaken the lead.
Several races coming down to the wire with only 13 hours left to vote for the @AllStarGame via the @CampingWorld All-Star Ballot. Visit https://t.co/Jd6REEkFYI to vote. #MLBVote pic.twitter.com/MgIOdRwEB0

The good news is that it’s only a difference of about eight thousand votes, which means that there’s still a chance to take the lead back. Also, it couldn’t hurt to throw a few more votes Brandon Crawford’s way (even though he’s pretty much a shoo-in at this point.)
So get voting! Vote early, vote often! Text your friends and remind them to vote! You can even create some burner email accounts for more votes if you need to! (Editor’s note: We do not endorse cheating. Please vote properly.)
Let’s send Buster back to the All Star Game where he belongs!
