Thursday BP, 7/12/18

Well, despite our best efforts and possibly due to the website malfunctioning yesterday, Brandon Belt will not be this year’s National League Final Vote winner for the All Star Game. He could potentially still be named an All Star if someone drops out late, but it’s unlikely.

But we’d like to thank all of you who worked so hard to try to get him in the game. We know he really wanted to be there and it’s disappointing, for sure. But it was great to see everyone come together for a few days to work for the same goal.

Now we can shift our support to his fellow Brandon, Brandon Crawford, as he will be our sole representative at this year’s game. Good luck, Brandon #2!
