Good morning everyone, and Happy Sunday!

To help you start the last day of the weekend off in a good mood, here is one of my favorite Giants-related videos. If you’ve got 20 minutes to spare and are looking for a laugh, this is for you:

It’s a couple of years old, but it’s still fun. And it even ends with Grant’s lost scouting report on Hunter Pence.

Speaking of Hunter Pence, in honor of his return to the team, enjoy this old gem, which preceded what you saw in the above video with Pence, Pablo Sandoval and the Philly Phanatic:

The Giants are currently tied with the Dodgers for third place in the National League West, they’re a half game behind Colorado and two and a half back from Arizona for first place. If they can manage to win the next two games, they’ll be at .500 when Madison Bumgarner returns on Tuesday, which is exactly the high end of our expectations for the duration of his injury. So things aren’t looking too bad!

Dereck Rodriguez gets his first MLB start today, and that’s something to look forward to. He looked promising in his first pseudo-start, so hopefully he can continue the short trend of solid starting pitching the team has had lately. And hopefully Joe Panik’s return continues to be stellar to help offset the absence of Brandon Belt.

So enjoy your day. You’ve got the potential for a Giants sweep and the Warriors in the Finals today and they aren’t at the same time, for a change. Sunday fun day.
