Good morning, Giants fans!
It is Sunday, and the Giants cannot possibly get swept in this series because they won last night! (Praise be to Gorkys)
Also, Madison Bumgarner did really well in his rehab debut! We’ll have more on that later from one of our multiple writers who had boots on the ground for that game, but things are looking up.
Not only that, but there is good news for most of the injured Giants!
Buster Posey has a sore right hip and is day to day. Johnny Cueto will begin throwing off flat ground Monday. Alen Hanson is playing an extendo game Monday, will join San Jose on Wednesday. Panik to start rehab assgt Monday in Sacramento. Play ball.

Do I think they should just go ahead and get Buster on the disabled list? Yes. But aside from that, this is all good news! Especially for Joe Panik, who has just been hurdling through his recovery and we should probably temper our expectations there, but we won’t blame you if you don’t want to do that.
But still! It’s Sunday morning, the Giants won last night, the Golden State Warriors came back from an awful first half to win in a blowout and survive to see Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
Let’s hope that the rest of the holiday weekend is as kind to us as Saturday was.
