Happy Thanksgiving! Or Harvest Day! Or whatever you choose or do not choose to celebrate today. I hope you enjoy the time with your family!

I’m going to guess that we won’t have many of you online today, but if you happen to stop by, please go ahead and let us know what you are having for dinner, especially any unique family recipes, or interesting ways of cooking turkey.

We’ll have a post up later about things Giants fans should feel thankful for this year, but feel free to talk about what you are grateful for this year below. I, for one, am thankful for the rain that has finally come and cleansed our apocalyptic air. It’s not Giants related, but I’m sure it’s something all of us in Northern California appreciate.

Additionally, it should help firefighters who continue to battle the Camp Fire in Butte County, which is also something to be thankful for! However, there are still a lot of people who find themselves likely permanently displaced from there homes. If you would like to help, you can do so here.

Lastly, please be careful out there. Don’t drive if you’re going to be drinking, and be careful on the roads. Wet weather and holidays are a bad combination. Not to mention, if you are near the affected areas of any of the major fires that have burned since we last had significant rain, there is a large danger of debris flows. So be on the alert, and get home safe! It wouldn’t be McC without all of you.

Have a great day everyone!
