Jae-gyun Hwang’s first major league hit was a homer, and the Korean call was outstanding

New, 5 comments

The Giants were looking for right-handed power. This will do.

Jae-gyun Hwang was called up on Wednesday, and he was immediately put into the lineup at third base. While he got an RBI on a fielder’s choice, he was still hitless when he came up in the sixth inning.

He’s not hitless anymore.

The best parts, ranked:

  1. The baseball is dead now
  2. The bat was dropped
  3. The call was fantastic

Welcome to the majors, Jae-gyun Hwang. May there be 762 more of them.
