Highlight from the Giants' farm: Adalberto Mejia allowed just 1 R in 6.2 IP.

(winning the first game in the best-of-five series)

Promoted to Richmond for the playoffs, Miller homered in his first game in the upper minors, connecting for a two-run, one-out shot in the 3rd inning.  Villalona and LaTorre each had two of the Flying Squirrels' nine hits.

Mejia enjoyed his third straight start allowing just 1 R in 6.0+ IP.  Casilla finished the game pitching scoreless 10th and 11th inning.

Note: Richmond was the Giants' lone affiliate to make the playoff in 2014.  (The AZL Giants and DSL Giants also made their post-seasons, but those playoffs have already concluded.)
