Saturday highlights from the Giants' farm: Jack Snodgrass allowed just 1 R in 6.0 IP, and Travious Relaford homered twice.  Also notable, Daniel Carbonell tripled among three hits, Mitch Delfino homered and singled, and Austin Slater homered among four hits.

AAA: Fresno defeated Tacoma 9-2
(scoring eight runs over the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings)

Batting leadoff, Perez singled three times to pace the Grizzlies' thirteen-hit attack.  Dominguez and Hicks, who hit their 23rd and 10th doubles, were two of four other Grizzlies with two hits.

Despite issuing five free passes, Fleet concluded his season with a quality start.  In seven PCL starts, he had a 3.95 ERA.  Cordier finished the game with a perfect 9th inning.  The possible September call-up has a 3.59 ERA.

AA: Richmond defeated Binghamton 7-6
(allowing five runs in the 8th inning but scoring three runs in the 9th inning)

Richmond: SP Kely Tomlinson: 3 for 5, CS, E
Richmond: 1B Angel Villalona: 2 for 4, 3B, SO

Batting leadoff, Tomlinson's three singles paced the Flying Squirrels' thirteen-hit attack and raised his AVG to .268.  Villalona, one of three other Squirrels with two hits, legged out his career-high 4th triple.

Snodgrass enjoyed a second straight strong season in the Eastern League.  After a 3.70 ERA in 141.0 IP last year, he managed a 3.56 ERA in 131.1 IP this year.

A+: San Jose lost to High Desert 10-5

Batting leadoff, Carbonell had three hits, including his 3rd triple, to pace the Giants' thirteen-hit attack.  He has hit .330/.379/.534 in 88 AB since joining the Cal League.  Delfino, one of four other Giants with two hits, connected for his 12th HR.

In his regular season finale, Vander Tuig allowed new career highs with both 12 H and 7 R.

A-: Augusta lost to Charleston 4-2

Augusta: SP Steven Messner: 5.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 R, 4 BB, 5 K--1 HB, 2 WP

Batting last in the lineup, Ortiz singled three times, pacing the GreenJackets' ten-hit attack.  Callaway also reached base three times.

Messner finished his first pro season with a 4.17 ERA in 110.0 IP.

ssA: Salem-Keizer lost to Boise 9-8

Relaford, who had just 3 HRs previously in his pro career, went deep twice.  Jones and Slater hit their 3rd and 2nd HRs (in the NWL).

Reyes retired just two of his eight batters, and Forjet allowed a few more runs in long relief as the Volcanoes trailed 8-1 entering the 4th inning.
