Hicks' 5th HR was a three-run, two-out blast in the 8th inning. Both Hicks and Duvall had two hits for the Grizzlies.
The 30-year-old Berken presumably finished his first year in the Giants' organization. He had a 4.64 ERA in 132.0 IP.

In his fifth upper minors start, Stratton established new highs with both 6.0 IP and 7 K. His component stats in those five starts include 29 H, 12 BB, 2 HR and 18 K in 23.0 IP.

Young finished his first full season with the shortest start of pro career. He threw just 25 pitches (16 strikes) in 0.2 IP. Bucardo allowed his lone inherited runner to score but otherwise contributed 4.1 scoreless IP in long relief.
