Playing his first PCL game in nearly two weeks, Duvall had three hits, including his 11th and 12th doubles. Also reaching base three times were Noonan and Quiroz.
Kickham allowed more than 3 ER for just the third time in eighteen starts this year. His ERA rose back above 3.50.
AA: Richmond lost to Reading 6-2
(allowing five runs in the 3rd inning)

Duffy, the lone Flying Squirrel to reach base twice today, hit his 3rd HR and had his 19th SB.
After allowing 1 ER in the 1st inning and 5 ER in the 3rd inning--for a season-high 6 ER--Snodgrass still managed to finish strong with four scoreless frames to finish his start.
A+: San Jose defeated Stockton 8-4
(after leading 6-2 entering the 7th inning)
San Jose: RF Chuckie Jones: 2 for 5, 2 2B, 2 SO
San Jose: DH Brian Ragira: 2 for 4, HR, 2 SO
San Jose: SP Joe Kurrasch: 7.1 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 2 K--1 HB
Ragira hit his 8th HR and a single, raising his OPS to nearly .700 after 287 AB. Jones hit his 14th and 15th doubles as one of three other Giants with two hits.
Kurrasch had 7.0 scoreless IP until allowed 4 ER in the 8th inning (two of which scored after he left the game). This was just his second time in ten starts allowing more than 2 ER.
A-: Augusta defeated Greenville 19-5
(after being tied 5-5 entering the 5th inning)

Augusta: SP Carlos Diaz: 4.0 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 5 BB, 3 K--1 HB, 2 WP
Augusta: RP Robert Ramer: 5.0 IP, 2 H, 6 K
Sim was the lone GreenJacket today with two hits.
Diaz had an ineffectual start, allowing over half his batters (12 of 23) to reach base. His ERA rose to 4.50. Ramer, a 24-year-old whom the Giants recently signed out the independent Frontier League, had an impressive pro debut, facing just two batters over the minimum in 5.0 scoreless IP in long relief.
ssA: Salem-Keizer lost to Hillsboro 11-9

Salem-Keizer: SP Ethan Miller: 5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 2 K--2 WP
Callaway and Jones both doubled and singled, combining for over half of the Volcanoes' seven hits. Callway has four straight multi-hit games, with six doubles in that time.
Miller has been very hittable through five starts. He has an ERA over 6.50 and a BAA above .350.
