Parker led off the 2nd inning with his 11th HR. Duffy had another double. With doubles in six of his last nine games, plus 14 H over that span, his SLG is above .450.
In his nineteenth start, Blach allowed new season highs with both 5 R and 9 H. His H/IP is now (just) above 1.00.

Payne hit his 3rd triple and 16th double. The 25-year-old has a .370 OBP this year. Drury, one of the Diamondbacks' better prospects, hit his 18th HR while reaching base three times.
Kurrasch faced just six batters in his thirteenth start.

The 20-year-old Valdez reached base three times, raising his OBP to .341. The 18-year-old Reyes has been rather hittable in his pro debut with a .324 BAA (61 H in 45.1 IP).
