Tuesday highlights from the Giants' farm: Adam Duvall homered while reaching base three times, and Myles Schroder reached base in all four plate appearances.

AAA: Fresno lost to Sacramento 7-5

Fresno: SP Jason Berken: 5.0 IP, 10 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 5 K--1 HR

Duvall and Minocozzi went deep for their 17th and 3rd HRs.  Walsh, a former Stanford player whom the Athletics signed as a minor league free agent shortly after the start of the season, homered twice in his fourth triple-A game.

Berken had his third straight start allowing 5+ R.  The 10 H matched a season high, raising his BAA to .296.

AA: Richmond lost to Trenton 8-3
(allowing seven runs over the 2nd and 3rd innings)

Richmond: SP Adalberto Mejia: 1.2 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 1 K--1 HR

Trenton: SP Manny Banuelos: 2.0 IP, 1 H, 4 K

Schroder had three of the Flying Squirrels' seven hits, including both XBH, and one of their two walks.  The 26-year-old has hit .260/.323/.333 through 150 AB in his first year in the upper minors.

Mejia had his second shortest start this year.  With 5 ER in each of his last three starts, his ERA has risen to nearly 7.00.  Law, the last of six Squirrels relievers, pitched a perfect 9th inning.  He was the lone Squirrels pitcher today not to issue a walk.  Banuelos, who missed all of last year but remains one of the Yankees' top fifteen prospects, struck out four of his seven batters.

A+: San Jose defeated High Desert 5-2
(scoring all five runs in the 4th inning)

Jones had his 6th double and a single, raising his AVG to .240.  Navarro was one of two other Giants with two hits.

Making his eleventh start, Stratton enjoyed a season-high 8 K and got his ERA back below 5.00.  McVay and Okert combined for 3 K in 2.0 perfect IP.

A-: Augusta lost to Rome 4-3

Augusta: SP Luis Ysla: 5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K--1 HR

Sy hit his 6th and 7th doubles, plus a single, raising his AVG to .248.  Jones and Ross also had multiple hits.

Ysla's string of four consecutive quality starts was snapped today.  He allowed more than 1 ER for the first time in seven starts.  His ERA remains (just) below 2.50.

DSL: Gigantes lost to Mets1 5-3

Dominican: RF Robinson Medrano: 2 for 4, HR, SO
Dominican: SP Prebito Reyes: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K

Medrano, who hit just 1 HR a year ago, went deep today.  The 18-year-old Reyes had a strong performance in his pro debut.
