Harris had three hits, including his 8th and 9th doubles.  Oropesa and Lollis also added a double and single each.

After a season-high 7 K in his last start, Crick raised the ante again with a new season high 10 K today.  He allowed just 1 H but issued 5 BB.  His component stats are now 46 H, 38 BB, 3 HR, and 60 K in 53.2 IP.  Osich and Okert, the second and fourth of four Flying Squirrels relievers, combined for 4 K in 2.2 perfect IP.  Okert got the save in his upper minors debut.

A+: San Jose lost to Modesto 9-4
(allowing six runs over the 3rd and 4th innings)

Miller's three hits raised his AVG to .314.  Delfino reached base four times, but his OBP remains below .330.  The Rockies' Story hit his 5th HR while reaching base in all five plate appearances.

Biagini had his least effective start this year with a season-high 6 BB in a season-low 2.2 IP.

A-: Augusta lost to Rome 6-4
(allowing all six runs in the 7th inning)

Lofton's four hits raised his AVG to .257.  Sy led off the 8th inning with his 5th HR.

Diaz's start was apparently cut short by a nearly one-hour rain delay.

McCall's 1st HR was three-run blast in the 9th inning.  Relaford and McKay both reached base four times.

Gonzalez has been solid over his three starts, allowing a combined 6 ER while having 4 K in each start.

R: Giants lost to Angels 4-2

Scottsdale: CF Randy Ortiz: 2 for 4

Scottsdale: SP Michael Santos: 5.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K--2 WP

With two singles, Ortiz was the lone rookie Giant to reach base twice.

Santos has allowed just 1 R in 10.0 IP over his first two starts.

DSL: Gigantes defeated Mets1 9-8

Dominican: RF Robinson Medrano: 3 for 4, BB
Dominican: SP Eber Guzman: 3.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K--1 HB

Edie and Medrano were two of three Gigantes with three hits.    Guzman's fifth start was his shortest this year.
