Tuesday highlight from the Giants' farm: Jack Snodgrass pitched a shutout.

AAA: Fresno lost to Round Rock 4-1

Fresno: 1B Adam Duvall: 2 for 4, 2B
Round Rock: 1B J.P. Arencibia: 3 for 4, 2 HR

Fresno: SP Edwin Escobar: 7.0 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 8 K--2 HR, 1 WP, 1 E

With his 10th double and a single, Duvall had the Grizzlies' only multi-hit line.  Arencibia, who had 21 HRs last year for the Blue Jays but who has spent much of this year with the Rangers' PCL affiliate, hit his 7th and 8th PCL HRs.

Escobar surrendered a pair of solo HRs to Arencibia but otherwise held the Express scoreless in 7.0 IP.  With 2 HR in each of his last three starts, he has allowed 12 HR in 88.1 IP this year, even with 0 HR during his five April starts.

AA: Richmond defeated Harrisburg 2-0

Richmond: LF Ryan Lollis: 3 for 3, 3B

Richmond: SP Jack Snodgrass: 9.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--1 HB

Lollis hit safely in all three plate appearance, raising his AVG above .250.

Snodgrass achieved the first CG SHO of his pro career.  Nor did it come in a doubleheader.  He needed just 96 pitches (64 strikes) in the effort.  His 2.81 ERA ranks fourth in the ten-team Eastern League.

A+: San Jose defeated Modesto 15-3
(after leading 9-1 entering the 5th inning)

San Jose: RP Bryce Bandilla: 1.0 IP, 3 K

Jones connected for his 6th HR.  Ragira and Blair each had three of the Giants' sixteen hits, raising their AVGs to .239 and .286.

After a 2.19 in 70.0 IP for Augusta in the first half, Lujan made his Cal League debut.  Rogers and Bandilla combined to strike out eight of their ten batters.

Salem-Keizer: RP Dusten Knight: 2.0 IP, 2 K

Pujadas reached base in three of four plate appearances before being lifted for a pinch runner in the 9th inning.

Reyes had his first quality start in three starts this year.  Knight had 2.0 perfect IP.  He has not allowed a run or a hit in 7.0 IP over three appearances.

R: Giants lost to Diamondbacks 5-2

Scottsdale: 3B Jonah Arenado: 2 for 3, 2B, BB

Scottsdale: SP Clayton Blackburn: 2.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K

Ewing hit his 1st pro HR.  Arenado reached base three times.  He has 7 H in 15 AB to start the season.

Making a rehab start, Blackburn struck out four of his nine batters but also allowed a couple runs.

DSL: Giants defeated Mets1 6-4

Dominican: C-1B Jose Mora: 2 for 3, HR, HBP, E
Dominican: SP Alejandro Flores: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K--2 WP, 1 BK

Mora, a 21-year-old playing in his second DSL season, hit his 1st pro HR.  Flores' third start was his longest this year.
