Fresno: RF Chris Dominguez: 2 for 5, 2 HR

Dominguez connected for his 6th and 7th HRs.  Minicozzi hit his 4th HR this year.

Kickham began the game by allowing 4 ER in the 1st inning but finished strong, pitching four scoreless frames thereafter and finishing with a season-high 7 K.  With 10 H allowed tonight, his BAA rose a bit further above .300.

Parker hit his 5th HR.  Both he and Duffy reached base three times.  With 10 H and 5 BB over his last six games, Duffy has raised his OBP to .381.

Snodgrass did not quite pitch long enough for a quality start, but he has allowed more than 2 ER just once this year.  Tonight he improved his W-L record to 5-0.

A+: San Jose defeated Inland Empire 2-1

San Jose: SS Alberto Robles: 3 for 4, HR, 2B, SO, CS, E

San Jose: SP Joe Kurrasch: 6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 2 K--1 WP

Robles was the lone Giant with multiple hits.  After no XBHs through his first 20 games, tonight he connected for his 1st HR and 1st double.

Despite a season-high 4 BB (in five starts over seven appearances), Kurrasch delivered 6.0 scoreless IP.  He has allowed just 20 H in 28.1 IP (.204 BAA).  Tonight's performance lowered his ERA to 2.22.  McVay pitched a perfect inning for the second straight night.

Augusta: SS Rando Moreno: 2 for 5, 2B

Augusta: SP Carlos Diaz: 4.0 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--2 HR

Moreno's 3rd double was the GreenJackets' lone XBH and drove in all three GreenJackets runs.

Making his ninth start, Diaz allowed a season-high 6 R.  With 4+ ER in three of his last four starts, his ERA has risen to 4.44.
