Wednesday highlights from the Giants' farm: Devin Harris homered while reaching base in both his plate appearances.

AAA: Fresno lost to Reno 9-8 (10 innings)
(despite scoring sux runs in the 5th inning anead leading 8-5 entering the 8th inning)

Fresno: C Andrew Susac: 2 for 2
Fresno: 3B Chris Dominguez: 2 for 4, BB, CS
Fresno: P Edwin Escobar: 2 for 3, 2B

Fresno: SP Edwin Escobar: 6.2 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 4 K

Three Grizzlies had two hits each.  Dominguez reached base three times.  Susac singled in both his plate appearances before he was lifted for a pinch hitter in the 5th inning.  Escobar's two hits lifted his AVG to .188.

Escobar allowed 2 ER in the 1st inning and 3 ER in the 4th inning.  That matched his season high with 5 ER.  He also set a new season high with 4 BB.  Through his eleven starts, his component stats are now 67 H, 22 BB, 5 HR, and 53 K in 58.1 IP.

AA: Richmond tied with Altoona 1-1 (after 4.5 innings)

Richmond: RF Devin Harris: 2 for 2, HR

Richmond: SP Kelvin Marte: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K

Harris hit his 3rd HR and hit safely in his other plate appearance.

Marte allowed just 1 ER, perhaps making his second best start this year among seven starts.

A+: San Jose lost to Stockton 10-2

San Jose: 1B Brian Ragira: 2 for 4, HR
San Jose: 2B Alberto Robles: 2 for 3, BB, SB

San Jose: SP Chris Stratton: 4.1 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 4 BB, 3 K--3 HR

Ragira connected in the 8th inning for his 5th HR.  Robles reached base three times.  It was the backup infielder's first multi-hit game this year.

Stratton allowed 2 ER in each of the 1st, 2nd, and 5th innings.  He allowed nearly half his batters (11 of 24) to reach base.
