Saturday highlights from the Giants' farm: Adam Duvall homered again, and Matthew Lujan had 6.0 scoreless IP.

AAA: Fresno lost to Reno 8-6
(tying the score with three runs in the 8th inning but allowing two runs in the bottom of the inning)

Fresno: 2B Joe Panik: 1 for 3, 3B, 2 BB
Fresno: 1B Adam Duvall: 2 for 5, HR, 2B, 2 SO

Fresno: SP Mitch Lively: 3.0 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K

Panik hit his 2nd triple while reaching base three times.  Duvall connected for his 12th HR--half of which have come in his last seven games.

Back in the rotation (apparently) for his sixth start among eight appearances, Lively had his shortest appearance of the season with just 3.0 IP.  With mutliple walks in all his appearances this year, his BB/IP ratio remains high, now up to 0.74.  Cordier had 2 K in a perfect 7th inning.  He was the only one of five Grizzlies pitchers not to allow a run.

AA: Richmond hosting Erie postponed due to unplayable, wet field conditions
(A makeup doubleheader is scheduled for tomorrow.)

A+: San Jose lost to Inland Empire 5-4 (11 innings)
(after rally with three runs in the 9th inning)

San Jose: DH Shawn Payne: 2 for 5, SO, SB
San Jose: RF Chuckie Jones: 1 for 4, HR, 2 SO

San Jose: SP Kendry Flores: 6.2 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 6 K--1 HR

Jones, who entered the day hitting just .207/.310/.279 through 111 AB, connected in the 5th inning for his 2nd HR.  Payne was the lone Giant with two hits.  He has 5 SB in ten games since joining San Jose.

Flores allowed 3 ER in the 2nd inning but did not allow another run until the 7th inning.  He allowed more than 2 ER for just the third time in seven starts, raising his ERA to 4.26.

A-: Augusta lost to Hickory 3-0
(allowing all three runs in the 8th inning)

Augusta: PH Cristian Paulino: 1 for 1, SB

Augusta: SP Matthew Lujan: 6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 6 K
Augusta: RP Ray Black: 1.0 IP, 2 K

Pauilino's pinch-hit single in the 9th inning was just the third hit for the GreenJackets.  He followed with his 9th SB (in 21 games).

The 25-year-old Lujan had his second straight start not allowing an earned run.  He has a 1.46 ERA through 37.0 IP.  Today's start included a 7/1 GO/FO line.  Black, making his fourth appearance, had 2 K in a perfect 7th inning.
