AAA: Fresno lost to Reno 8-6
(tying the score with three runs in the 8th inning but allowing two runs in the bottom of the inning)

Panik hit his 2nd triple while reaching base three times. Duvall connected for his 12th HR--half of which have come in his last seven games.
Back in the rotation (apparently) for his sixth start among eight appearances, Lively had his shortest appearance of the season with just 3.0 IP. With mutliple walks in all his appearances this year, his BB/IP ratio remains high, now up to 0.74. Cordier had 2 K in a perfect 7th inning. He was the only one of five Grizzlies pitchers not to allow a run.

A+: San Jose lost to Inland Empire 5-4 (11 innings)

Jones, who entered the day hitting just .207/.310/.279 through 111 AB, connected in the 5th inning for his 2nd HR. Payne was the lone Giant with two hits. He has 5 SB in ten games since joining San Jose.
Flores allowed 3 ER in the 2nd inning but did not allow another run until the 7th inning. He allowed more than 2 ER for just the third time in seven starts, raising his ERA to 4.26.

Pauilino's pinch-hit single in the 9th inning was just the third hit for the GreenJackets. He followed with his 9th SB (in 21 games).
The 25-year-old Lujan had his second straight start not allowing an earned run. He has a 1.46 ERA through 37.0 IP. Today's start included a 7/1 GO/FO line. Black, making his fourth appearance, had 2 K in a perfect 7th inning.
