Sunday afternoon highlights from the Giants' farm: Kyle Crick allowed 1 R in 5.0 IP, and Gary Brown tripled, double, and singled. Also notable, Pat Young allowed just an unearned run in 5.0 IP.

Hitting in the top two spots in the lineup, Brown and Panik had three hits each. Brown's hits included his 1st triple and 2nd double. Defensively, each player also committed their 2nd error of the young season.
Berken had a somewhat abbreviated start in his debut with the Giants organization. He allowed 3 ER, including two in the 1st inning. Affeldt's second rehab appearance went far better than his first one. Today he had 2 K in a perfect 5th inning.

Parker had his fourth straight multi-hit game to begin the 2014 season. Also with two hits were Schroder, who reached base three times, and Krill, who had his first two XBH this year.
Giants' top prospect Crick allowed just 1 R in 5.0 IP in his upper minors debut. He faced just three batters over the minimum while throwing 74 pitches (49 strikes). He also had a 6/1 GO/FO line.

Turner's three hits paced the Giants' ten-hit attack. After hitting .249 (in 378 AB) last year, he has 6 H in 12 AB in his first three games this year.
Young, whom the Giants selected in the 13th round a year ago, allowed just an unearned run in his (regular season) full-season debut. Bradley pitched perfect 6th and 7th innings. The Dodgers' Billingsley allowed a couple runs in his first rehab appearance.
