Easter Sunday highlight from the Giants' farm: Edwin Escobar's 7.0 scoreless IP.

AAA: Fresno lost to Reno 2-1
(allowing both runs in the 8th inning)

Brown reached base three times, with the two hits raising his AVG above .300.  The double was was his first XBH in his last ten games.  Perez and and Colvin also had two hits each.  Ahmed, whom the Braves drafted in the 2nd round three years ago and traded to the Diamondbacks as part of the Justin Upton trade, connected for the two-run HR in the 8th inning.

Escobar had his most effective start of the year.  He faced just two batters over the minimum in 7.0 scoreless IP.  He threw 93 pitches (63 strikes).  After four starts, his component stats include 24 H, 4 BB and 22 K in 19.2 IP.
