Dominguez, one of three Grizzlies with two hits each, had the Grizzlies' lone XBH. He has hit safely in all six games in which he has played and has a .364 AVG.

Pitching in the afternoon contest, Berken delivered his second straight quality start. He has a 3.38 ERA after three starts.

Gregorio struck out nearly half his batters (11 of 23). The strikeouts contributed towards a high pitch count. With 92 pitches (59 strikes), he came up shy of qualifying for a so-called quality start. Bucardo, the first of three Giants relievers, struck out half his batters (3 of 6) in 1.2 scoreless IP.
