Sunday highlights from the Giants' farm: Adam Duvall homered twice, Angel Villalona homered among three hits, and Kelvin Marte allowed just 1 R in 7.0 IP.  Also notable, Tyler Horan had four hits.

AAA: Fresno lost to Las Vegas 10-4
(allowing five insurance runs in the 8th inning)

The Grizzlies' had just five hits, but they included Duvall's solo HR in the 7th inning and his two-run HR in the 9th inning.  Duvall already has 5 HRs this year after eleven games.  The Mets' Young had quite the performance in his first rehab game.  He also homered twice and hit safely in all five plate appearances.

Kickham allowed more than two baserunners per inning but kept the damage to just 3 R.  He has allowed at least 7 H in each of his three starts and has a .333 BAA.  Reifer struck out all three of his batters in the 9th inning.  The Mets' Montero, a top 100 prospect in the minors, delivered a quality start.  On opening day, he had 6.0 scoreless IP against the Grizzlies and started with 5.0 scoreless IP today before allowing a run in both the 6th and 7th innings.

AA: Richmond defeated Altoona 7-3

Richmond: SP Kelvin Marte: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K

Villalona connected for his 3rd HR, 2nd double, and a single.  His season line now stands at .308/.341/.590 after 39 AB.  Krill also had three hits as he reached base in all four plate appearances.  But, with no hits in his four previous games, his AVG remains below .250.

Marte delivered a quality start, including an 8/3 GO/FO line.  Hall got the final out in the 8th inning on a caught stealing and then pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 2nd save.

A+: San Jose lost to Bakersfield 10-4
(allowing four insurance runs in the 8th inning)

Blair and Ragira each had two hits for the Giants.  With multiple hits in five of his eight games, Blair has a .387 AVG.  By contrast, this was Ragira's first multiple-hit game, and his AVG is just .226.

Biagini allowed over half his batters (11 of 20) to reach base before Bucardo provided long relief.

Horan's four-hit performance lifted his AVG to .344 after 32 AB.

Lujan had an effective start, making his first start after a couple relief appearances.  Slania had a career-high 6 K in 3.0 scoreless IP.
