The 2014 World Series parade, that is. It gets *so* confusing.

  • Tim Lincecum and a billion confettis.

  • I'm assuming there's a 40-year-old scotch in the cup that tastes like rolling hills and dreams.
  • And we never saw Office Kendrickson again.
  • We trailed the Lopez/Lincecum car the whole way. I'll tell you, they know what they're doing up there.
  • Hi, Madison! Those are neat!
  • Hi, Batman! I'm a big fan.
  • Michael Morse, taking it all in.
  • George Kontos was one of the most excited players on the bench all postseason. He's cool by me.
  • And then the demon monkey devoured Barry Bonds. It was neat to be that close to Bonds, though.
  • Here's the part where I dropped on the ground and made a confetti angel.
  • Posey's thinking about running for office. Casilla's thinking about hitting.

Hello. There was a World Series parade on Friday. It was also Halloween. It was also my birthday. Today ... today was a good day.

I'm still sorting through the 1,000 pictures my assistant (father-in-law) took, but until I can figure out what's what, here's a selection of pictures taken throughout the day. I wasn't sure if there would be a mad throng of a million to brave the rain, but it looks like it was close.

The Giants won the World Series, and there was another parade down Market Street. My goodness.
