Turner's three hits paced the GreenJackets' nine-hit attack (all singles). Delfino and Jones each added a couple hits.

Agosta had previously allowed as many as 4 R only twice in his 23 pro starts. Tonight he allowed a career-high 6 R. He allowed just 1 ER through 4.0 IP but then 5 ER in the 5th inning. Kurrasch was the only one of five GreenJackets' pitchers not to allow an earned run.

Hitting safely in all three plate appearances, Polonius led the Volcanoes' nine-hit attack. Although not in the starting lineup, Tuntland connected for the Volcanoes' lone XBH--a two-run HR in the 8th inning.

Johnson had not allowed more than 4 R in any of his fifteen starts this year but tonight surrendered nearly twice that many. He allowed over half (9 of 16) his batters to reach base. Montero, the Volcanoes' fifth reliever, struck out three of his four batters in the 9th inning.
