AAA: Fresno had a scheduled off-day

AA: Richmond defeated Portland 5-3
(scoring three runs in the 9th inning)

Richmond: 3B Adam Duvall: 2 for 4, HR, 2B

Gloor delivered his third straight quality start. He has a 3.39 ERA after 22 starts. Only one other pitcher has more starts in the Eastern League this year, and his ERA ranks seventh best. Hall pitched a perfect 9th inning. He has 6 saves in twelve appearance since his promotion.

A+: San Jose lost to Visalia 3-2

San Jose: RF Mac Williamson: 2 for 4, 2B

San Jose: SP Clayton Blackburn: 6.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--1 HR
San Jose: RP Derek Law: 1.0 IP, 1 K

With his 23rd double and a single, Williamson was the lone Giant to reach base twice. After being so hot in July, this was just his second multi-hit performance in his last nine games.

Blackburn yielded three unearned runs in the 5th inning, which were enough to drop his W-L record 7-5. He has allowed just 6 ER but 14 R overall over his last six starts. Law pitched a perfect 8th inning.

Augusta: 1B Joseph Rapp: 2 for 3, 2B, BB, SO, SB, E

Rapp had his 14th double, a single and a walk to reach base three times. His .638 OPS through 265 AB this year is .200 points lower than his .839 OPS last summer in 239 AB.

Concepcion made just his fifth appearance this year. His 3.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER and 3 K were all new season highs.

Dominican: DH Nicol Parra: 1 for 4, 2B, BB, SO
Dominican: SP Raffi Vizcaino: 4.1 IP, 12 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 0 BB, 2 K--1 WP
