The Giants never won a game in the Ted Lilly era. It was the best of times, it was the several minutes of times. But according to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily dish, the deal between the Giants and Ted Lilly is off.
Source: #SFGiants and Ted Lilly could not agree on callup date, so deal is off. Doubtful that he will end up with them now.

Well, there goes the season. Everything that I wrote in the previous post still stands; Lilly is still the type of player the Giants should poke around at in the offseason. But they won't get the free 30-day trial to find out. The Giants probably didn't want to give their credit-card number and risk getting an auto-renewal subscription.
So until further notice, please remember that Ted Lilly has always kind of been a dillweed, and we never liked him in the first place. Best of luck on the Long Island Ducks, pal.
(This means a better chance of more Zito, doesn't it ...)
