Abreu, playing his the second game on his current rehab stint, doubled twice to have two of the Grizzlies' five hits.
Fitzgerald struck out better than a third (9 of 26) his batters but saw his W-L record drop to 2-7 nonetheless. While the 9 K in his thirteenth PCL start were not a season high, this was his first time with more than 6 K in a PCL start.

Herrera's four hits paced the Flying Squirrels' thirteen-hit attack and raised his AVG to .298. Villalona hit his 10th and 11th doubles. Duvall hit his 16th HR, and Ciriaco led off the 9th inning with his 2nd HR.
Snodgrass began the year with an ERA close to 2.50 through fourteen starts but has had an ERA just above 5.50 in his subsequent ten starts.

Oropesa led off the 2nd inning with his 8th HR in the last two months. Brown entered the game hitting just 4 for 38 in his first nine Cal League games but hit safely twice in this game.
Bouncing back from his last start (5 ER on 3 HR), Blackburn struck out nearly a third (7 of 22) his batters. This, his 23rd start this year, was his first start since his first start this year not allowing a run, improving his ERA to 3.65.

Mella faced just one batter over the minimum in 4.0 scoreless IP. Gonzalez struck out three of his seven batters. They also combined for a 8/0 GO/FO line.
