Saturday highlights from the Giants' farm: Kelvin Marte and Pat Young combined to faced just three batters over the minimum in 12.0 scoreless IP.  Also notable, Mac Williamson had four hits, and Mason McVay had 7 K.

AAA: Fresno lost to Las Vegas 2-1

Fresno: RF Juan Perez: 1 for 4, 2B, SO, CS

Fresno: SP Austin Fleet: 7.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 4 K

While no one reached base twice for the Grizzlies, Perez did have their lone XBH with his 27th double.

Back up from the Cal League, Fleet delivered his fourth quality start in seven PCL starts.  This was his first time pitching into the 7th inning as a PCL starter.  For the year, he has a 3.75 ERA in 105.2 IP.

AA: Richmond lost to Altoona 3-2 (7 innings) in game 1

Richmond: 2B Joe Panik: 1 for 3, 2B, BB
Richmond: LF Javier Herrera: 1 for 3, 2B, BB, 2 SO

Richmond: SP Chris Gloor: 6.2 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K--1 IBB, 1 HB

Panik and Herrera both reached base twice.

Gloor came up one out shy of a complete-game effort.  He allowed a run in each of the 3rd, 5th and 7th innings.

AA: Richmond lost to Altoona 13-1 (7 innings) in game 2

Augusta: SP Joe Panik: 1 for 2, 2 BB, GiDP, 2 E
Augusta: SS Kelby Tomlinson: 2 for 2, 2B, BB, SB, E
Altoona: RF Gregory Polanco: 2 for 4, 2 2B, BB

Augusta: SP Taylor Rogers: 3.1 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 3 K--1 WP

Panik and Tomlinson both reached base three times, although they also combined for three errors.  Polanco, one of the Pirates' top five prospects, doubled twice.  He has hit .292/.365/.445 this year.

Rogers allowed nearly half (8 of 18) his batters to reach base.  He allowed 3 ER, which was at least less than two of his four relievers allowed.

A+: San Jose defeated Bakersfield 3-2

San Jose: RF Mac Williamson: 4 for 5, 2B
San Jose: 1B Ricky Oropesa: 2 for 4, 2B, BB (IBB), GiDP

San Jose: SP Kelvin Marte: 6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Williamson's four singles gave him his fourth straight multi-hit game and raised his AVG to .289.  Oropesa also reached base three times.

Marte had perhaps his best start of the year, facing just two batters over the minimum in 6.0 scoreless IP.

A-: Augusta defeated Hickory 6-3

Augusta: 3B Mitchell Delfino: 1 for 4, HR

Augusta: SP Justin Schumer: 6.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 6 K--2 HR
Augusta: RP Mason McVay: 3.0 IP, 1 H, 7 K

Delfino hit his 12th HR.  He is the lone GreenJacket with more than 9 HRs, although his SLG remains shy of .400.  With two singles, Robles raised his AVG to .331.

Schumer had just his second quality start since the SAL's all-star break.  McVay had a career-high 7 K in 3.0 scoreless IP.

ssA: Salem-Keizer defeated Eugene 3-0

Salem-Keizer: SP Pat Young: 6.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K
Salem-Keizer: RP Raymundo Montero: 1.0 IP, 2 K

Ragira had his 1st triple as he reached base three times.  He has hit .271/.375/.387 through 155 NWL AB.

Young faced just one batter over the minimum in 6.0 scoreless IP.  His 6 K were a career high.  Montero got his 13th save.

DSL: Gigantes lost to Reds 6-5 in game 1
(completing a game suspended earlier this week)

Dominican: C Jose Mora: 2 for 3, BB
Dominican: SP Eber Guzman: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

Mora (20.7 y.o.) reached base three times as the lone Gigante with two hits.  Guzman (20.4 y.o.) finished his second pro season with a 3.34 ERA in 70.0 IP.
