Sunday highlights from the Giants' farm: Austin Fleet allowed just 1 R in 6.0 IP, and Luis Ysla had 5.0 scoreless IP.

AAA: Fresno defeated Reno 6-4

Fresno: 3B Chris Dominguez: 3 for 4, 2B, SO
Fresno: LF Kensuke Tanaka: 2 for 2, 2B, BB

Fresno: SP Mitch Lively: 6.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 2 K--1 HR
Fresno: RP Heath Hembree: 1.0 IP, 1 K

Dominguez's three hits, including his 20th double, paced the Grizzlies' eleven-hit attack and raised his AVG to .297.  He is currently on pace to have his first pro season with an OPS above .800.  Tanaka reached base in all three of his plate appearances.

Lively delivered his fifth straight quality start, bringing his season ERA below 5.00.  Hembree pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 29th save.

AA: Richmond lost to Bowie 11-0

Richmond: 2B Joe Panik: 1 for 3, BB

Richmond: SP Chris Gloor: 5.2 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 2 BB, 5 K--1 HR

Panik was one of three Flying Squirrels to reach base twice.  He has a .336 OBP

After matching season highs with 9 H and 5 ER in his previous start, Gloor once again allowed 9 H and this time set a new season high with 7 R.

A+: San Jose defeated Inland Empire 2-1

San Jose: DH Brock Bond: 2 for 2, 2 BB
San Jose: RF Mac Williamson: 2 for 4, 2B, SO

San Jose: SP Austin Fleet: 6.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K--1 HB

Bond reached base in all four plate appearances.  Williamson also had two hits, with his 27th double being the Giants' lone XBH.

Fleet made his second straight quality start since returning to the Cal League.  He has made eight Cal League starts and seven PCL starts, plus eleven relief appearances.

A-: Augusta lost to Savannah 2-1 (7 innings) in game 1

Augusta: 2B Alberto Robles: 3 for 3, 2B

Augusta: SP Justin Schumer: 5.2 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K--1 HB, 1 BK
Augusta: RP Steven Okert: 1.1 IP, 3 K

Robles had half of the GreenJackets' six hits, raising his AVG to .322.

Schumer allowed approximately two baserunners per inning but kept the damage to two runs.  Okert had 3 K in 1.1 perfect IP, but his K/IP remains below 1.00.

A-: Augusta defeated Savannah 7-6 (7 innings) in game 2

Augusta: SP Matthew Lujan: 5.0+ IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 3 K--2 PO

With two of the GreenJackets' four singles and one of their four walks, Turner reached base in all three plate appearances.  Nimmo, the Mets' first rounder two years ago, reached base in all four plate appearances.

Lujan began the game with 5.0 scoreless IP before allowing the first two hitters in the 6th inning to reach base.

ssA: Salem-Keizer defeated Vancouver 15-5

Salem-Keizer: SP Chase Johnson: 4.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K--1 IBB, 1 HB

Sy and Horan hit their 8th and 3rd HRs.  Ross joined Horan with three hits each, pacing the Volcanoes' fourteen-hit attack.

Making his eighth start, Johnson allowed a career-high 3 ER, raising his ERA above 2.00.

R: Giants lost to Dodgers 1-0

Scottsdale: SS Christian Arroyo: 2 for 4

Scottsdale: SP Luis Ysla: 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K

Arroyo had both of the rookie Giants' hits, raising his AVG to .314.

Ysla made his fourth straight scoreless start.  In eleven total starts, he has a 2.74 ERA.
