Monday higlight from the Giants' farm: Luis Ysla and Nicholas Gonzalez faced just one batter over the minimum while combinining for a shutout.  Also notable, Jeremy Sy homered among three hits, and Leonardo Rojas had four hits.

AAA: Fresno lost to Omaha 5-4 (11 innings)

Fresno: SS Ehire Adrianza: 1 for 3, 2 BB, 2 SO

Fresno: SP Justin Fitzgerald: 6.0 IP, 10 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--2 HR
Omaha: SP Danny Duffy: 1.0 IP, 2 K

Adrianza reached base three times for the Grizzlies, with one of their six hits and two of their five walks.  Even without a multi-hit result in his last nine games, he has maintained his .400+ OBP by drawing seven walks.

In his seventeenth start this year, Fitzgerald allowed a season-high 10 H.  In his ten PCL starts, his component stats are 65 H, 23 BB and 41 K in 54.1 IP.  The Royals' Duffy, who made his last start in the majors, pitched a perfect 1st inning but did not return for the 2nd inning.

Sy and Rojas combined for seven of the Volcanoes' seventeen hits.  Sy's 7th HR tied him for the NWL lead.  In four games, Rojas has hit 8 for 14 for with 5 XBH.

After 7 ER over his first four pro starts, Vander Tuig nearly doubled his ERA with 6 ER in just 1.2 IP in his fifth start.  He allowed 3 ER in both the 1st and 2nd innings.  Shadle restored order in long relief.  With 0 ER in 3.1 IP, he brought his ERA below 2.00.  Montero got his 11th save with a perfect 9th inning.

Arroyo's three hits, including his 14th double, paced the rookie Giants' twelve-hit attack and raised his AVG to .296.  Massoni also reached base three time, including once via his 2nd HR.

Ysla made his third straight start not allowing a run.  He allowed just one batter over the minimum while matching a season-high 5.0 IP.  With no runs allowed in five of his ten starts, he has a 3.07 ERA.  Making his fourth pro appearance, Gonzalez went 4.0 perfect IP.

DSL: Gigantes defeated White Sox 4-1

Dominican: 1B Royel Astacio: 2 for 3, 2B, BB, SO
Dominican: SP Eusebio Encarnacion: 6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K

Astacio (19.10 y.o.) reached base three times.  With more walks than hits in his third pro season, he has a .353 OBP despite a .198 AVG.  Encarnacion (19.0 y.o.) made his fourth straight start with 6.0+ IP.
