Adrianza and Monell each had twohits , including Adrianza's 2nd triple and Monell's 23rd double. They raised their AVGs to .333 and .298.
Kickham allowed just 1 H but issued 5 BB for the second time in three starts. He now has a 0.50 BB/IP ratio (45 BB in 90.0 IP in his seventeen PCL starts).

Duvall hit his 11th HR. He homered for the second straight day but has a sub-.270 OBP since the start of June. Minicozzi reached base three times. His .413 OBP ranks second in the ten-team Eastern League.
Snodgrass finished July with a 6.39 ERA over six starts--easily his least effective month this year. His season ERA remains just 3.70, though. Quirarte had 2.2 perfect IP, bringing his ERA below 2.75. Barnes, the Red Sox' first round selection two years ago, has allowed more than 1 ER in just one of his last eight starts.

Returning from a PCL spot start, Mejia had 7+ K for the fourth time in his last six Cal League starts. For the year, his component stats are now 51 H, 18 BB and 59 K in 62.1 IP. Law pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 9th save this year.

Making his first start in just his fourth appearance this year, Concepcion allowed just one baserunner in the first two innings but then three baserunners in the 3rd inning. Dunnington provided 3.0 scoreless IP in long relief, and Johnson followed with another 2.1 scoreless IP, including a career-high 6 K.
