Two Grizzlies went deep--Sanchez for the second straight day, and Kieschnick for the first time this month.
Kickham did not make it out of the 1st inning, throwing 42 pitches (25 strikes) to record just two outs. Castillo provided long relief, stranding both runners inherited from Kickham but then allowing 5 ER over 4.0 IP.

Susac led off the 7th inning with his 12th HR, scoring the Flying Squirrels' lone run. He was also the lone Squirrel with two hits, having his first multi-hit game since June. His season line is now .263/.372/.481 in 243 AB. Lindor, whom the Indians drafted eighth overall two years and who has emerged as likely one of the top fifteen prospects in baseball, hit his 1st HR in the upper minors. Promoted to the upper minors after the Futures Game, he has hit .441/.578/.647 through his first ten Eastern League games.
Rogers allowed just 2 ER through 6.0 IP but then 3 ER in the 7th inning, finishing the night with an ERA just above 5.75.

Oropesa hit his 5th HR in 24 Cal League games. He hit 6 HRs in 66 Eastern League games earlier this year.
Blackburn had perhaps the best start of his career, pitching a perfect game through 6.2 IP. He allowed a two-out double in the 7th inning. In the 8th inning, he allowed a one-out triple and two-out RBI double. The performance improved his ERA to 4.02.

Tuntland had two of the Volcanoes' nine hits (all singles), raising his AVG to .214 after fifteen NWL games.
For the fourth time in nine starts, Johnson delivered 6.0 scoreless IP. The component stats for last year's 17th rounder are 38 H, 5 BB and 51 K in 52.0 IP.

Batting leadoff, Angomas (18.1 y.o.) reached base four times, raising his OBP above .330. Encarnacion (19.0 y.o.) had a season-high 7.0 IP in which he improved his ERA to 2.21.
