Kieschnick, Peguero and Perez each doubled and singled, combining for six of the Grizzlies' nine hits. The game's big performer was Calhoun, who made his MLB debut for the Angels last year, as he homered three times.
Fleet has been suspectible to the long ball in his PCL experience, surrendering 10 HR in 36.1 IP. Despite the 10 HR, he has yielded just 17 R in the PCL, keeping his ERA below 4.50.

In his upper minors debut, Tomlinson had two of the Flying Squirrels' seven hits (all singles). Panik was one of two other Squirrels with two hits.
Escobar has allowed 4 R in two of his three Eastern League starts. So far, his component stats seem better than his 4.32 ERA as he has 17 H, 3 BB, 0 HR and 17 K in 16.2 IP. Schuman pitched a perfect 8th inning.

Williamson had one of the Giants' six hits (all singles) and one of their two walks.
Making his ninth start, Crick allowed a season-high 9 H. In fact, he had allowed more than 4 H just once previously this year. His ERA remains below 1.50.

Flores' 6.0 scoreless IP lowered his ERA below 3.00. Dunnington had 1.1 perfect IP.

With a season-high 10 H, Kurrasch allowed nearly half (11 of 23) his batters to reach base. Encinosa pitched a perfect 9th inning. Shipley, the Diamondbacks' first rounder this year, pitched into the 3rd inning for the first time in his young pro career, which encompasses five starts.

Pena hit his 2nd triple and 15th double. Despite just four hits in his previous seven games, his SLG remains close to .500. Arroyo had his third straight multi-hit game and extended his hitting streak to eight games.
Vogelsong faced one batter over the minimum in 2.0 scoreless IP in his first rehab appearance. Mella, the first of four Giants rookie relievers, continued the shutout through the 5th inning.
DSL: Gigantes defeated White Sox 8-7

Dominican: SP Olbis Parra: 5.0 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K--1 WP
Gomez (20.7 y.o.) singled four times to raise his AVG to nearly .350 (after 46 AB). Parra (18.9 y.o.) allowed a season-high 9 H but just 2 R. His BAA rose to .299 with 40 H in 33.1 IP.
