Wednesday highlight from the Giants' farm: Adam Duvall and Mitchell Delfino both had 5 TB in 4 AB. Also notable, Jack Snodgrass and Kendry Flores each allowed 2 ER in their starts.

With his 3rd triple and 8th double, Duvall led the Flying Squirrels' offense. He has hit .313/.389/.583 through his first 96 AB in the upper minors. Susac, who had his 15th double and picked off a runner at first base, and Lollis both added two hits.

Pitching into the 8th inning in consecutive starts, Snodgrass faced just three batters over the minimum in 7.1 IP. Maday finished the game with 1.2 perfect IP for his 12th save.

A+: San Jose lost to Modesto 5-1

With his 14th double and a single, Harris was the lone Giant to reach base. The 25-year-old has hit .263/.321/.535 through 213 AB in his fourth pro season.

Appearing in his first game in over a year, Surkamp had 3 K in 2.0 perfect IP. Escobar, the regular starter, picked up in the third inning. Despite striking out nearly one third (6 of 20) his batters, he allowed 5 R. His ERA rose above 3.50. Bandilla had 2 K in a perfect 8th inning. After 3 ER in his previous appearance, he got his ERA back below 4.00.

A-: Augusta lost to Greensboro 2-1

Augusta: 3B Mitchell Delfino: 2 for 4, HR

Augusta: SP Kendry Flores: 8.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K--1 HR, 1 HB

Delfino led off the 4th inning with his 7th HR, scoring the GreenJackets' lone run. He was their only hitter to reach base twice.

Flores allowed 2 ER in the 2nd inning but otherwise pitched seven scoreless frames and suffered the complete-game loss. His 63.0 IP (in ten starts) is the second highest total in the league.

DSL: Gigantes defeated Reds 4-2

Dominican: C Kleiber Rivas: 2 for 4, 2B, SO
Dominican: SP Jonathan Loaisiga: 5.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K--1 WP

Rivas (17.11 y.o.) doubled and singled in his season debut. A year ago he had just 5 H and 0 XBH but 14 BB in 32 AB (.156/.460/.156). Loaisgia (18.7 y.o.) faced just two batters over the minimum in 5.0 IP in his pro debut.
