Sunday highlight from the Giants' farm: Mac Williamson homered and tripled. Also notable, Mike Kickham allowed just 1 R in his PCL debut.

AAA: Fresno defeated Tacoma 5-4

Gillespie had three of the Grizzlies' twelve hits. Pill also added a couple hits, including a double.

Kickham had a very solid PCL debut, although his walk rate was a bit on the high side. He threw 86 pitches (50 strikes). Hembree pitched a scoreless 9th inning for his 1st save.

Among four Flying Squirrels with two hits each were Adrianza, Duvall and Susac. All three hitters have an AVG of at least .300 through the first four games. Today they combined for four doubles among their six hits.

Fitzgerald had an abbreviated start as be began his third season with the Squirrels. In the previous two years, he has an ERA of 3.36 over 311.0 IP in 55 starts. Meyer, whom the Twins acquired in the off-season from the Nationals in the Denard Span trade, struck out more than one third (8 of 22) of his batters as he debuted with his new organization.

Williamson had his 2nd HR and 1st triple. Harris also had a couple XBH. Williamson and Harris each have four XBH through their first four games this year.

Blach had a solid line in his first pro appearance. In relief, Bandilla, Soptic and Hall combined to strike out half of their batters.

A-: Augusta lost to Lexington 5-2

Augusta: SP Kendry Flores: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K

Branca had two of the GreenJackets' seven hits (all singles) and one of their two walks.

Flores delivered a quality start in his full-season debut. He had a 4.78 ERA over the last two summers in the NWL over 19 starts and three other relief appearances.
