Tuesday highlight from the Giants' farm: Devin Harris homered again.
AAA: Fresno lost to Sacramento 10-2
(allowing three runs in both the 6th and 7th innings to break the game open)
Fresno: RF Francisco Peguero: 3 for 4, 2B
Fresno: C Jackson Williams: 2 for 3, 2B, BB
Sacramento: 1B Daric Barton: 1 for 2, HR, 3 BB, SO
Fresno: SP Yusmeiro Petit: 5.2 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 6 K--1 HR
Peguero's three hits paced the Grizzlies' ten-hit attack and raised his AVG to .443. Williams also reached base three times. He has not been off to as hot a start as Peguero as William's AVG remains below the Mendoza line. Barton's tenure with the Athletics was not noted for its power as he has not exceeded 13 HRs in a season, but tonight he homered for the second straight game while reaching base four times.
Making his sixth start, Petit surrendered a season-high 6 ER, raising his ERA to nearly 6.50.
AA: Richmond at Bowie postponed by rain
(No makeup date is yet announced, but the series continues the next two days.)
A+: San Jose lost to Bakersfield 8-5
(despite scoring four runs in the 1st inning)

San Jose: RF Mac Williamson: 3 for 4, 2B
San Jose: SP Clayton Blackburn: 6.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 8 K--1 HR
Harris homered for the sixth straight game. His two-run shot in the 1st inning was his 9th HR this year. Williamson had three hits, including his 5th double, raising his AVG to .244.
Blackburn had allowed just 4 ER over his first four starts but allowed 4 ER tonight in his fifth start. His ERA rose to 2.57. The 4 R, 7 H and 2 BB were all new season highs. On the plus side, he did strike out nearly one third (8 of 27) of his batters.
