Saturday highlights from the Giants' farm: Adalberto Mejia had 6.0 shutout IP, Cole Gillespie had 3 XBH, and Devin Harris homered again. Also notable, both Mark Minicozzi and Shawn Payne had four hits.

Gillespie had a big game with 3 XBH, including his 2nd HR and 6th and 7th doubles. The 28-year-old has hit .292/.370/.492 through his first 65 AB in the Giants organization. Perez hit his 4th HR. A year ago he had 11 HRs. Owings, one of the Diamondbacks' top ten prospects, continues to have a strong start to his season. He has hit .353/.389/.500 through his first 102 AB in the PCL.
Making his third start, Loux pitched a season-high five innings but also allowed a season-high 5 R. Rosario and Hembree combined to strike out half their batters in 2.0 perfect IP. Hembree got his 7th save.

With four singles and a walk, Minicozzi reached base in all five plate appearances. He and Krill combined for over half of the Flying Squirrels' thirteen hits. Previously this year, Krill had had just four singles in limited playing time (now 7 H in 30 AB). Panik, arguably the Squirrels' top prospect, reached base three times.
Making his fifth start, Westcott allowed a season-high 8 H, raising his BAA to .300. Despite allowing no more than one run in three of his five starts, he has a 4.37 ERA.

Leadoff hitter Payne reached base five times and had his 8th SB. Harris homered for the fourth straight day. Cavan hti his 9th double and a couple singles to raise his AVG above .350.
Mejia had perhaps the best start of his pro career, facing just one batter over the minimum in 6.0 scoreless IP. He had a 9/2 GO/FO line. After four starts, his peripheral stats are 14 H, 7 BB and 15 K in 19.1 IP.

Delfino, whose three hits paced the GreenJackets' fourteen-hit attack, hit his 2nd HR. Brown led off the 5th inning with his 1st HR, but he also committed his 6th error in the game.
Making his fourth start, Biagini allowed a season-high 6 R in a season-low 4.0 IP. While his ERA is above 4.00, his peripheral stats remain strong with 18 H, 5 BB and 18 K in 19.2 IP. Johnson's ninth appearance was his best of the year from a statistical perspective as he struck out all three of his batters. He has had multiple strikeouts in four of his last six appearances, raising his K/IP above 1.00.
