Thursday highlights from the Giants' farm: Francisco Peguero homered among three hits, and Ty Blach allowed just 1 R in 6.1 IP.

Playing his first game in nearly two weeks, Peguero had his 1st HR, 2nd double and a single to lead the Grizzlies' eleven-hit attack. With multiple hits in six of his ten games, he has a .419 AVG. Jurica also had three hits, raising his AVG to .371. Pill and Perez added their 5th and 3rd HRs, respectively.
Making his fifth start this year, Petit delivered his second quality start. His ERA remains close to 6.00.

Batting in the final two spots in the lineup, Arnold and Tomlinson combined for half of the Giants' twelve hits, including Arnold's 2nd triple and Tomlinson's 3rd double. They raised their respective AVGs to .283 and .340. Harris homered for the second straight day.
Blach, the Giants' fifth rounder a year ago, pitched into the 7th inning for the first time as a pro. Both he and Anderson, whom the Rockies selected in the first round two years ago, allowed just one run. Blach's K/IP is just 0.60, but he did have a 10/2 GO/FO line this evening. Strickland had 2 K in a perfect 9th inning.

Stratton struck out 11 of his 25 batters and had a 6/1 GO/FO line. Despite allowing just two hits, he allowed 2 ER in both the 2nd and 4th innings, as the two hits were an RBI double and a 2-run HR.

Gregorio went just 2.0 IP in his fourth start. The box score and game log do not appear to suggest why his start was abbreviated. McVay and Law, the second and third of three GreenJackets relievers, combined for 6 K in 3.0 perfect IP.
