Because I had Monte Irvin on the brain for most of the day -- at least, the first part of the day -- I went looking for clips of him playing. Instead, I stumbled across the above video, in which Irvin plays a big part for what he doesn't do. Dusty Rhodes pinch-hit for Irvin in Game 1 of the 1954 World Series, and it gave us an excellent new victory GIF:

That was how baseball fans reacted before the word "WELP" was invented. There's also a pretty neat over-the-shoulder catch in that video.
