Tanaka paced the Grizzlies' eleven-hit attack with his three singles, raising his AVG to .412. Kieschnick had his 2nd HR and threw out a runner at the plate, while the other two outfielders, Brown and Peguero, each doubled and singled. Peguero has hit over .400 through eight games, although the double was his first XBH this year.
Kickham had a somewhat brief start as he struggled with his control, throwing just 43 of 79 pitches for strikes in 4.0 IP. Runzler had 2 K in a perfect 7th inning, and Hembree got his 3rd save.
